Creative Oxygen Labs Partners with WhiteHart Construction to Build New Clean-Air Community in Ghana

Accra, Ghana – Creative Oxygen Labs and WhiteHart Properties and Construction Company have entered into a landmark partnership to bring a new kind of community development to Ghana, one that is built around modern living, wellness, and clean-air innovation. The project spans across 20 acres of land in its first phase, with long-term plans expected to expand across 200 acres as the community grows. A significant investment has already been committed toward securing the land, kicking off a vision that blends thoughtful construction with a meaningful focus on health.

The master plan includes 2,3 and 4 bedroom townhouses and villas, a gym, a mini clinic, restaurants, and an event center, all designed to give residents a living environment that supports their wellbeing. With air quality continuing to be a concern throughout parts of Ghana, WhiteHart Properties and Construction sought out Creative Oxygen Labs specifically to bring an added layer of protection and value to every home.

Each unit will feature the Oxygen infused paint that will be applied to walls and ceilings, helping maintain cleaner indoor air flow and supporting better respiratory, immune, and cognitive wellness for residents. The addition of the Oxygen seal will also create a defining advantage for this community, setting it apart as a forward-thinking model for future housing developments across the region.

Phase one of the project is estimated at $20,000,000 and has the support of both Ghana’s health and housing departments.

Construction is well underway, with the first 10 units already in progress and scheduled for occupancy by early 2027.

“This relationship represents a bigger movement toward making clean air a standard in the building and construction industry that prioritizes human health, the ecology and the use of sustainable quality materials ahead of everything else. By 21st century standards, health is the new luxury,” said Chris Shahabi, founder of Creative Oxygen Labs. “Ghana is taking an important step, in-line with the United Nations Sustainability Goals, by prioritizing air quality, especially in buildings. We’re proud to be involved and hope this becomes a blueprint we can replicate in other parts of the African continent.”

WhiteHart Properties and Construction echoed the significance of the partnership and the long-term vision behind it.

“We wanted this project to do more than offer beautiful homes, we wanted it to offer peace of mind,” said Michael Strachan, CEO of WhiteHart Properties and Construction Company. “Creative Oxygen Labs brings a unique solution that aligns with our mission to build communities that support healthier living, and it certainly begins with clean air. People sometimes forget that we can live for a few weeks without food, a few days without water but we can only function for a few minutes without air. We believe this collaboration will set a new benchmark for housing developments across Africa and beyond.”

As work continues on the first phase, both companies see this project as the beginning of a global shift toward designing communities where wellness is built directly into the structure of buildings.
